Hi, I’m Dr. Tiu
As a Maryland native, Dr. Monica Tiu earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Maryland, College Park, and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. To further enhance her skills, Dr. Tiu completed a General Practice residency at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center. She also received 2 additional years of extensive training in IV sedation and general anesthesia during her Dental Anesthesiology residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Tiu practiced in New York City for 10 years before returning to the Baltimore-D.C. area. She has served as faculty at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Outside work, Dr. Tiu enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 girls, playing tennis, and biking.
