Valley Dental Health is home to Dr. Ashley Izadi, who was voted one of Baltimore Magazine’s 2020 Top Dentists.
For her work with Invisalign in 2017, Dr. Ashley Izadi was awarded The Galler Cup, which is awarded to the Top Invisalign General Dentists in North America. Read our interview with Dr. Izadi below!
What made you pursue a career in dentistry?
I always knew I wanted to be in service to others by helping empower patients to support & improve their health and quality of life. Also, dentistry allows for real life-long relationships to be formed and fostered. Plus, I’ve always been interested in technology and research, and I feel proud to be one of the leaders in the Baltimore area, using scientific advancements in dentistry to provide better patient treatment and better patient education.
What is your favorite thing about being a dentist?
My favorite thing about being a dentist is connecting with my patients. I love meeting generations of family members, workmates, and friends of friends. I feel a very special connection to my hometown community and I’m proud to serve with my team of Allstar dental professionals by my side!
What service do you enjoy providing for patients the most? Why?
I really love all aspects of dentistry but my passion for Invisalign and alignment of teeth makes me the happiest. I have found that although most patients start their Invisalign journey to improve their bite and prevent additional damage, what is most impactful is the changes that people make in their lives once they have their confidence through their smiles. That confident smile leads to my patients truly living their best lives- that is the best feeling for me!
What is the best piece of dental advice that you have to offer your patients?
The more you share with me about yourself, your medical history, and your smile goals – the better I can serve you. My practice is a place of hope, loving care, fun, and most importantly, a no-judgment zone! We use our dental technology to educate our patients on their specific oral health findings and support them on their oral health journey. What is a fun fact about yourself that many patients do not know?
I was on the cover of a local band’s CD cover when I was in dental school. Yes, a CD!!!
